In Rwanda, the project is being implemented in Nyamagabe District in the southern and Kirehe District in the eastern parts of the country. The predominant farming system in these areas is crop-livestock farming with a focus on dairy cattle. The main challenges faced by the farmers are the declining pasture and forage availability.
